ORIGINAL SOLIDARITIES, the exhibition with more than 400 oeuvres in postcard format by 175 artists from all over the world who have donated their work to be sold and whose benefits go straight to UNICEF, Save the Children and the Vicente Ferrer Foundation has been on show in Valencia. Under the supervision of the painter, Charo Marin, it has been exhibited at the Anagma Gallery. Along with the director of Stylusart Pablo Mañe they have appeared on the main television sites of Valencia, Antena 3 (news), Canal 13 ("A toda Costa" with Silvia Costa), LP TEVA and Telecom. The solidarity exhibition has also been extended through radio and press.
The hall was prepared to receive this very singular exhibition ORIGINAL SOLIDARITIES. All the spaces were reorganized to give a sense of freshness so that the oeuvres could be appreciated. A computer was permantely connected to the Net so that the buyers could purchase at the same time. Many were interested in the fact that they could buy through Stylusart and were able to connect with the photographs and the CV of the artists. Keen on the easy access to information many stated that later on they would consult and print them out.
At the inauguration three unpublished poems were read by Gilberto Parschiva (Hungary), Carmine Manzi and Lucio La Penna (Italy).
Charo Martin and Pablo Mañe are already working on the next edition of ORIGINAL SOLIDARITIES, both sponsors and the return to Valencia in 2003.
Stylusart would like to thank Charo Martin, Ignacio Navarro, Amparo and Maria José from the Anagma Gallery for their help.
